The Seattle Sounders Select came from behind to defeat the Abbotsford 86ers 3-1 in Abbotsford, BC. Select forward Ian Chursky scored two goals including the match winner in the 76th minute.

Abbotsford scored first in the 11th minute on a goal by Andy Corazza. The Select then mounted a comeback in poor weather conditions. Defender Scott Burcar tied the score for the Select in the 24th minute, assisted by Mark Hogenhout. Chursky scored his go-ahead-goal in the 76th minute on a penalty kick. Chursky's second goal was an insurance goal scored in the 84th minute, assisted by Ben Somoza.

The Select were without several players, including Joe Watson (appendix surgery) and Billy Sleeth (serving the first of a three-match suspension).
