Match report from the Seattle Sounders:

The Seattle Sounders ended their longest road trip of the season with a 1-0 loss to the Milwaukee Wave United Saturday on Roy Jones Field at Uihlein Soccer Park. They now return home with a majority of matches left on the schedule to be played on friendly turf.

The Sounders fell behind in the 35th minute on a goal by Milwaukee's Todd Dusosky, his seventh of the season. Milwaukee executed a throw in from the right side. The ball bounced through traffic at the top of the 18-yard box to an unmarked Dusosky, who used his left foot to hammer it past Seattle goalkeeper Preston Burpo. It was Burpo's first match action since being sidelined with a broken jaw 15 minutes into the first match of the season May 1st in Portland.

Seattle applied intense pressure in the final 15 minutes of the match, looking for the equalizer but coming up empty. Their best chance came with about eight minutes to play when Zach Scott head a corner kick from Andrew Gregor two yards wide of the right post.

The match completes a stretch of seven straight road games for the Sounders. Seattle posted a record of 3-2-1 (W-D-L)  on the trip. The Sounders return home for the first time in a month when they host their Pacific Division rivals, the Calgary Storm, Wednesday at Seahawks Stadium.
