Scoring Summary:

7' Vanc Amber Allen (Katie Thorlakson)
Thorlakson fed it ahead to Allen, who outpaced her marker at the edge of the box, and finished well for her team-leading 11th on the year.

55' Vanc Katie Thorlakson (Martino Franko)
Franko on the right fired a good cross to Thorlakson who hit a screamer into the top right corner. It was her fifth goal on the year.

72' Vanc Martino Franko (Andrea Neil)
Good pressure in the box with the ball eventually reaching Neil with her back to goal six yards out. She played it across to Franko to blast in from five yards for her third of the season.

88' Vanc Jodi-Anne Robinson (Martino Franko)
Franko's through ball sent Robinson in on goal and she fired it hard and low for her second of the season.

Game Notes:

Seattle goalkeeper Lisa Brookens was on the bench injured, forcing striker Janelle Munnis to play in goal for the full 90. She made 10 saves.

The Whitecaps had many other chances to score, most notably Kara Lang hitting the bar at 58', and Brittany Timko doing likewise ten minutes later from in close.

Martino Franko started on defence but quickly moved up front as Vancouver switched to a 3-4-3 formation. Franko was credited with 12 shots in the game.

Forward Stephanie Smith was denied her first goal for the team 74' as her first shot from in close was cleared off the line, and her follow-up was saved by Munnis.
