Match report from the Sounders:

Playing their fourth consecutive match on the road, the Seattle Sounders fell 4-1 to the Puerto Rico Islanders at Juan Ramón Loubriel Stadium. The Islanders handed the Sounders their fourth straight road loss, and marks the second time this season the Sounders have allowed four goals. Scoring the lone goal for the Sounders was forward Roger Levesque.

Down just 1-0 at half, the Sounders and Islanders rattled off three goals in five minutes early in the second half. The Islanders took a 3-0 lead on goals by midfielder Kormac Valdebenito (penalty kick) and Caleb Norkus just two minutes apart in the 51st and 53rd minutes.

Sounders midfielder Andrew Gregor finally put the Sounders on the board in the 56th minute with a penalty kick. The Sounders took 10 shots throughout the game.

The night was highlighted by a two-goal performance by Puerto Rico midfielder Gustavo Schelotto and Islander forward Auturo Norambuena added two assists.

As a result of injuries to veteran defenders, the Sounders backline consisted of rookies and second year players. Defenders Danny Jackson, Zach Scott and Ben Somoza didn't make the trip due to various injuries. The Sounders did play with two new defenders, Stephen Keel and Jorday Harvey on loan from the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer.

The loss continues the Sounders four-game losing streak; each of those four games has been on the road beginning June 3rd in Portland. Over the past four games, the Sounders have been outscored 12-3.

The Sounders continue their trip with a stop in Miami to face legendary forward Romario and Miami FC on Sunday, June 18th at 2 pm PST. The match in Miami will be televised live on Fox Soccer Channel, coverage begins at 1:30 pm PST. Fans can join the Sounders at Kells Irish Pub and Restaurant for the broadcast.
