Match recap from Sounders FC

The Sounders reserves took it to the Kitsap Pumas today in a reserve game. Seattle got four first half goals and added two more after halftime for a 6-0 win.

Scoring in the first half were Roger Levesque, Michael Fucito, Sanna Nyassi and Sebastien Le Toux. The second half goals came from Nyassi and Le Toux (with Chris Henderson picking up the second assist on Le Toux's goal).

The starting lineup was: Terry Boss, Lamar Neagle, guest player Daniel Scott, Zach Scott, Evan Brown, Michael Fucito, Nathan Sturgis, Osvaldo Alonso, Sanna Nyassi, Roger Levesque and Sebastien Le Toux.

Alonso and Brown came off at halftime for guest players. Chris Eylander came on for Terry Boss around the 60 minute mark and Henderson was also a second-half sub.

With Fredy Montero acting as translator/assistant coach/"all around goofball" (Schmetzer's words), Alonso told Brian Schmetzer that he felt fine after his 45 minutes.

"He probably could have played more, but we deliberately held him out because we don't want to take chances," Schmetzer said.

Zach Scott played a full 90 minutes after missing several weeks of game action because of groin/abdominal and back problems.
