The Sounders FC faced Denmark's FC Midtjylland in a training game Wednesday morning, giving Sigi Schmid a further opportunity to assess some of the trialists and see some players play different positions.
Notice Neagle playing right back, Scott as a center back, Wallace in the central midfield and King as right mid.
1 - FC Midtjylland kicked off to start the game and over the first few minutes the ball went from backline to backline without much control or purpose.
7 - The Sounders get a good run of possession up the middle, then stream the ball to the left before Midtjylland took the ball back.
8 - Lamar Neagle lifts a cross from the right side, but the Midtjylland goalkeeper, Martin Rasha, jumped over Tye Perdido to make the grab.
9 - Sanna Nyassi sends a cross from the right side over the box, but it lands at the feet of Pete Vagenas who takes the first shot of the game, missing wide left.
10 - Mike Fucito gets to a through-ball and around a defender on the left side, but gets too deep and has limited options before spilling the ball to the keeper.
12 - FC Midtjylland plays a ball through the front of the goal, but Stephen King clears it away at the far post.
15 - Pete Vagenas steps in front of a ball to force a turnover and the Sounders go the other way.
16 - Seattle plays the ball around the perimeter and it falls to the feet of Tyson Wahl for a left-footed shot from 27 yards out, but he misses over the crossbar.
17 - Jeff Parke makes a great tackle in the midfield, but the ball stays in Midtjylland's possession.
18 - Pete Vagenas shoots from 19 yards out, but it misses over the crossbar.
19 - Jeff Parke stops a run up the left side and earns a Seattle throw-in.
20 - Zach Scott plays a ball over the top to the forwards and FCM clears it away for a corner kick.
21 - Jeff Parke plays a ball through two defenders to Tyson Wahl for a cross from the right side and the ball finds Stephen King for a shot from inside the box, but it misses outside the far post.
23 - FCM crosses the ball into the box from the right side and heads it down in front of the net, but Jeff Parke clears it away.
24 - Mike Fucito misses on a left-footer from 10 yards out on the left side. It was a great individual effort to even get the shot off.
27 - Pete Vagenas sends a ball into the box from the right side, but a header from Tye Perdido is grabbed by Martin Rasha.
28 - Mike Fucito slides the ball into Martin Rasha after making a run up the left side of the box, but Rasha can only knock it clear for a corner kick.
28 - Peter Vagenas takes the corner from the left side and it takes a sliding stop by a defender to keep Stephen King's shot out of the net.
33 - A misplayed ball falls to Tye Perdido at the top of the box, but Martin Rasha springs to action and makes the stop before Perdido can chip it over him.
34 - Jeff Parke pushes up the field and crosses to Mike Fucito from the right side, but it goes over his head and FCM goes the other way.
36+ - The referee blows the whistle for halftime.
37 - FC Midtjylland gets a run up the left side and scores inside the near post, but it is waved off for offside.
37 - Lamar Neagle plays a ball up the field to Tye Perdido behind the FCM defense, but he is overtaken by a defender and the ball goes clear for a goal kick.
44 - David Estrada draws a foul on the left side of the box. Peter Vagenas takes the free kick from 20 yards out, but it is cleared away from the far post.
45 - Jude Nworuh makes a run up the left side of the box and slips a shot past Patrick Lane for the goal. FCM 1, Sounders FC 0.
48 - David Estrada works out on the right side to get the ball to Fredy Montero, but his shot from the elbow goes outside the far post for a goal kick.
50 - Tye Perdido gets out in front, then plays the ball back to Steve Zakuani on the left side, who works a fancy give-and-go with Peter Vagenas to get the ball back behind the Midtjylland defense. Zakuani then splits the ball past the keeper and inside the far post for a goal. Great play by the Sounders to even the score 1-1.
51 - Zach Scott muscles Jude Nworuh into an easy save for Patrick Lane on the left side.
53 - Fredy Montero gets his foot into a free kick from 22 yards out and Martin Rasha dives at the near post to make the save.
54 - Jude Nworuh steps through the Sounders defense and slides the ball past Patrick Lane. He looked to be offside on the play, but there was no call and FC Midtjylland takes a 2-1 lead.
58 -Jude Nworuh races past the Sounders defense this time, takes a ball from Rilwan Hassan and pops it in on the run for his third goal and a 3-1 lead.
63 - Morten Foged shoots from the right side, but it swings past the far post for a goal kick.
65 - Jamel Wallace makes a late stop on a run sliding in to defend the ball to Patrick Lane.
67 - Fredy Montero gets his foot on a ball at the top of the box, but it rolls to Martin Rasha for the save.
70 - The referee blows the final whistle. FC Midtjylland 3, Sounders FC 1.
The Sounders will have an evening training session before they play SK Brann from Norway Thursday in the fifth place game of the La Manga Cup.
