Match report based on the Sounders' report:

Forward Patrick Beech scored in the second minute of overtime as the Seattle Sounders defeated the defending A-League champion Milwaukee Rampage 3-2 for their third consecutive victory.
Beech scored the winner yesterday off an assist from forward Erick Storkson, who headed a Dusty Hudock goal kick over the Rampage defense. The ball went right to Beech, who beat Rampage goalkeeper Carmen Isaaco with a shot to the near post.

Milwaukee dominated play and spotted the Sounders a 1-0 lead on the first of Mark Baena's two goals. Baena took a pass from Peter Hattrup, turned and beat Isaaco from in close in the 12th minute.

Baena missed a chance to give the Sounders a 2-0 lead when he missed a wide-open goal from 12 yards out eight minutes later.

Milwaukee tied the score in the 31st minute when Jon Szcepanski scored on a penalty kick.

The Rampage took a 2-1 lead when Jason Willan scored in the 34th minute, but Baena tied the score in the 84th minute, assisted by Dick McCormick.

The game went into extra time, setting up Beech's winning shot.
