(Seattle, WA) - The Seattle Sounders today announced the continuation of a partnership with radio station KKNW 1150 AM to broadcast the Sounders 28-match 2004 season.
Thom Beuning returns as the play-by-play caller, and will again travel with the team on all 14 road matches to bring Sounders action to fans in Seattle.
"Last season was my first season with the Sounders and in professional soccer, it was a fun and exciting experience, I really learned a lot," said Beuning who doubles as the voice of Seattle Thunderbirds. "This season I look forward to putting that learning to use, and hope for just as an exciting season this year as a year ago."
Each broadcast will include a 15-minute pre-match coach's show featuring Sounder Head Coach Brian Schmetzer and a 15-minute post-match wrap up show.
The Sounders 2004 schedule includes 14 home matches at Seahawks Stadium and road matches in Calgary, Vancouver, Portland, Atlanta, Edmonton, Charleston, Minnesota and Milwaukee.
