The Seattle Sounders defeated Liga Hispana 6-0 in a pre-season game played before 1,000 at Renton Memorial Stadium. The Sounders dominated play, outshooting Hispana 30 to 2 and holding a 16 to 2 corner kick advantage.  Goalscorers for the Sounders were Darren Sawatzky (35'), AJ Utush (39'), Andrew Gregor (54'), Erik Storkson (57'), own goal (68') and Storkson again (82').  Sounders goalkeeper Bill May played the full 90 minutes, making 1 save for the shutout.

FIRST HALF HIGHLIGHTS:
35'  Tomlinson shoots inside the penalty area and his shot goes off the top of the post.  The rebound goes to Sawatzky eight yards from goal and he converts into lower left corner for a goal.

39'  Gregor takes the corner and hits an in swinger that goes directly to AJ Utush inside the goal area.  Utush calmly heads the ball into the left corner for a goal.

SECOND HALF HIGHLIGHTS:
54'  From about 30 yards out, Howes passes left side to Gregor running inside the left side of the penalty area.  Gregor takes one dribble and lets a low hard shot go from 10 yards out that beats the goalkeeper to the short side.

57'  Nguyen takes a corner kick and hits an out swinger that goes to Storkson standing on the 6-yard line.  Storkson heads the ball into the top right corner for a goal.

68'  Gregor tries to cross the ball into the penalty area.  The ball deflects off an Hispana defender and into the net for an own goal.

82'  Gregor controls the ball outside of the penalty area and passes to Storkson.  Storkson inside the penalty area takes the pass, shoots and scores on a low shot to the left side of the goal.
