The Seattle Sounders Select defeated the Okanagan Predators 2-0 in PDL match played Saturday night at the Apple Bowl in Kelowna, BC. Forward Joe Watson scored the match-winning goal in the 55th minute. Midfielder Aaron Heinzen scored the second goal in the 65th minute for Seattle.

The Select men rebounded after losing the previous night at Spokane, 1-0.

The Select Men finished the regular season with a 15-0-5 (W-D-L) record (68 points) and now get ready for the PDL playoffs, which start Friday night. Okanagan finished the season at 2-17-1. Seattle defender Bob Schefter was ejected in the 80th minute for violent conduct. Select goalkeeper Brandon Mitalis made six saves to record the shutout.

The Sounders Select men finish in second place in the Northwest Division and have clinched a playoff berth. Seattle swept the season series against Okanagan, 4-0.
