Midfielder Evan McNeley scored both goals for Seattle as the Sounders Select defeated the Okanagan Predators 2-1 in a PDL match played Friday evening at the Apple Bowl in Kelowna, BC.

McNeley scored both goals late in the match as he was able to put two by Predators goalkeeper Steve London. McNeley scored his first goal in the 79th minute on a pass inside the penalty area from midfielder James Vert. McNeley increased the lead and scored the match-winning goal in the 84th minute when he converted a penalty kick. Select midfielder Zach Kingsley was fouled in the penalty area by a Predators defender, setting up the penalty kick.

Okanagan made the game close when Terry Krueger scored in the 89th minute. His goal came on a pass from Laurent Scalagine. The Predators had a chance to score late, but their shot attempt sailed wide.
