The Seattle Sounders Select blew a two goal first half lead and lost 3-2 in extra time to the Spokane Shadow in PDL action in a match played Saturday evening in Spokane, WA.

Seattle took a 2-0 first half lead on goals by Abbas Faridnia in the 1st minute and Zack Kingsley in the 21st. Spokane countered with two second half goals to tie the match.

Spokane scored the game-winning goal in the 119th minute when Connor Quinn scored on a partial breakaway. With the loss Seattle drops to 5-3 on the season, but has qualified for the US Open Cup Tournament. Spokane improves to 4-2.
