Goals

44' - Seattle's Zach Scott headed in a nice short cross from Alex Bengard.

50' - Marco Velez headed in a strong corner kick from Viet Nguyen.

53' - Matt Hulen shot one through with an assist from Craig Tomlinson.

55' - Shawn Purcell scored an unassisted goal with a nice bit of footwork which cleared space for a loft over the keeper's head from to the top of the penalty box.

71' - Tomlinson scored a spectacular bicycle kick goal when he broke free from the pack for a one-on-one with the Liga keeper. The initial shot was blocked but as Tomlinson fell he arched his back and while facing midfield flicked one over himself and past the sprawling keeper.

77' - Tomlinson on a breakaway scored again on a perfectly placed pass from Darren Sawatzky coming out of midfield.

82' - Sawatzky scored as he lofts a ball over the keeper from the outside edge of the penalty area after the keeper gives up the ball while attempting a distribution pass.

83' - Liga saves some face by heading in a rebound off of a save from Sounders goalie Rich Cullen.

Man of the Match: Craig Tomlinson. Inserted at forward for a struggling Kyle Smith, who missed a handful of goal chances in the first half, Craig was just too fast for his defenders.
