Match report by Ron Stickney:

Well, just a partial match report, as we watched the men on TV play 110 minutes and caught only the last 40 minutes of the Women's match.

The Sounders Women won both halves to beat the Arizona Heatwave 4-1, avenging a loss at Arizona earlier in the season. For Seattle, Brenda Mueller opened the scoring, Kim Taylor added one in each half, and Erin Redwine notched one in the 90th minute. Arizona's goal by Alison Heydorn tied the score at the time.

We saw the last two goals:

62' Taylor (Schweighart). Kelly Schweighart's through pass put Taylor past the offside line and she knocked the ball past goalkeeper Katie Hultin, spun to collect the deflection off Hultin, and finished into an empty net from 8 yards. 3-1 Seattle.

90' Redwine (Baysa). Chalise Baysa got free on the left and rolled a cross in front of goal. Redwine was unmarked and roofed it from 8 yards to beat Hultin. 4-1 Seattle.
