On Saturday, April 1st, featuring a roster of invited college and professional players, the Seattle Sounders defeated Seattle Pacific University 3-1 at Interbay Stadium in Seattle, Wash. Seattle University’s Cam Weaver scored the Sounders’ first goal as the first half came to a close at 1-1. Scoring for the Sounders in the second half was Seattle University Forward Alex Churskey, son of former NASL Sounders Goalkeeper Tony Churskey; and Sounder midfielder Josh Hansen. Sounders’ First Round Draft pick, Goalkeeper Chris Eylander started in goal.
