Match report from the Sounders:

The Seattle Sounders played friendlies on back to back days Tuesday and Wednesday against the Seattle University Redhawks and the University of Washington Huskies, winning both 3-0 and 1-0 respectively.

The friendlies come in the middle of a two week break from USL-1 league play for the Sounders. Next up is a trip to San Jose to take on the San Jose Earthquakes of Major League Soccer Tuesday, September 2. Seattle's next league game is Saturday, September 6, 7:00 pm at Starfire.

The Redhawks and Huskies played the Sounders as part of a tune up for the coming college soccer season. Seattle University's regular season kicks off Saturday against Clevland State while Washington plays in the Nike Portland Invitational Friday against Farleigh Dickinson.

Sounders guest player Chris Sanders scored twice and Kevin Forrest added one in the 3-0 win over Seattle University while Sebastien Le Toux scored the winner over the University of Washington in the 63rd minute Wednesday night.
