Denver - The Colorado Foxes defeated the Seattle Sounders 3-0 in an A-League soccer match last night.

The Foxes scored all three goals in the first half, handing the Sounders their worst loss of the season.

The third-place Sounders (18 points) entered the match one point behind Colorado, the league's highest scoring club at 2.18 goals per match. The loss leaves Seattle eight points behind A-League leader Montreal.

Dominating the first half, Colorado got their opening goal six minutes into the match when rookie Wolde Harris connected on a 30-yard blast. The goal was Harris' eighth of the season and fourth against Seattle in four games.

Midfielder Anthony McCreath notched Colorado's second goal in the 13th minute, knocking home a blast from 27 yards out.

Aaron Lujan finished the scoring at 30 minutes with a tap-in goal.

Despite allowing the three goals, Seattle outshot Colorado 14-12.
