COMCAST PUTS SEATTLE SOUNDERS ON DEMAND

Ten home matches available, with first game airing within 48 hours after April 30th home opener

(Seattle, Wash.) - - Comcast Cable, a leader in cable television technology and video on demand programming, and the 2004 Western Conference Champion Seattle Sounders today announced that 10 Sounder home matches would be available through Comcast ON DEMAND beginning with the Sounders home opener on April 30th.

The replays of the 2005 Sounders matches are offered at no additional charge over the cost of Comcast Digital Cable service, and will be available for viewing within 48 hours after completion of each game.

"We're excited about our partnership with Comcast and about helping to provide quality local content to Comcast subscribers," said Sounders assistant general manager Bart Wiley.

The 10 home matches are April 30, May 11, May 25, June 25, July 20, July 27, August 6, August 13, August 26 and September 9.

"The addition of The Sounders to Comcast ON DEMAND reinforces Comcast's commitment to increase the value of its products and services by providing customers with more programming choices and more control over those choices than ever before," said Tom Pierce, VP of Marketing and Sales for Comcast.

ON DEMAND offers Comcast Digital Cable customers the ability to choose from movies, music, sports, news, instructional and entertainment programming and more. In addition, viewers can rewind, fast-forward and pause programs, and can store movie selections for at least 24 hours from the time of ordering, so they can watch those selections whenever and however often they like. An interactive, on-screen programming guide makes selecting from the library of ON DEMAND content quick and easy.

In addition to Sounders games, Comcast now offers numerous local sports programming options available ON DEMAND, including Seattle Supersonics and Seattle Thunderbirds games, highlights and special programming from the Seattle Seahawks as well as high school football and basketball games.

The Sounders kick off the 2005 season on April 30th at 7 pm at Qwest Field when they face the Portland Timbers. The 2005 home schedule features 14 regular season home matches, and two exhibition games on May 11 (Real Salt Lake) and July 20 (Sunderland AFC).
