Match report by Ron Stickney:

This wasn't billed as a preseason match, and they didn't sell tickets, but about 50 fans showed up to watch the 80-minute scrimmage. Several players who didn't play last Saturday saw action in this match. The match was played on the nice grass that is Husky Soccer Field.

40' Klaas. The Sounders had a few good chances in the first half, and just before intermission CJ Klaas carried the ball from his own half up the middle to the arc, where he managed to get free for a shot from the 18 that beat the goalkeeper at the left post.

55' Totev (Schmidt). The Huskies leveled the match when Spencer Schmidt crossed from the right side of the penalty area and Leo Totev got to the ball a step ahead, 10 yards from goal, and he put the shot past the diving Preston Burpo inside the far post.

The Sounders had several chances in the second half, but didn't score. For the Huskies, Schmidt had a couple of golden opportunities to score, but missed them both.

Misconduct: none

Referees: Fred Mabbott; Graham Persad, Jeff Jarvis.
